:: thinking I should write books like the ones I used to love (Tales of the Incredible Mr. E)
:: saying goodbye to a very special family
:: making a salvaged sweater blanket for that very special family
:: trying to catch tadpoles at the Arboretum
:: hating cancer
:: praying for a dear friend with cancer and a dear friend's mother with cancer
:: loving the open windows
:: riding a bigger bike to the pool, around and around the block and down the mulch pile (oh, yes, wipe out!)
:: longing to hold my brand new nephew again
:: wishing I had more work
:: feeling secretly happy I don't have more work
:: dreading Elliott's 48-hour EEG
:: finding joy in the rainy days
:: ignoring the giant mulch pile, the packed garage, the ridiculous weedfest in the front yard, the boxes of papers to be sorted and shredded
:: staying up too late some nights
:: falling asleep with the kids the other nights
:: walking around the river in the morning
:: eating local
:: roasting marshmallows
:: relishing summer
