This morning we hosted our neighborhood Valentine's day party, with 25 kids between 4 years and one month. That's a lot of sticky cupcake fingers and not-sharing meltdowns. But it was actually quite fun. Liam amazingly handwrote all his cards, without any help from mom (other than my dictating the spelling of his friends' names). He has even mastered the word "love" and his name. It was kind of sad to give them away. Liam had no problem with it as it meant he'd get candy from all his friends in return. (It's almost as good as Halloween!)
I love how the decorations turned out. Nothing but construction paper and yarn, but it made the whole house look warm and happy.
